What an absolute piece of sodden craptastic tripe. For a film to be considered an “historical drama,” it requires that something about the film be historical. This is a “fantasy.” It’s hardly even drama. The story is wrong. The casting is all sorts of wrong. The costuming is wrong. The hair is wrong. The accents are wrong, especially since Mary didn't have a Scottish accent having been raised in France. Wrong. Wrong. And more wrong.
